These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Pekko's Pizza through our website at pekkospizza.com.

Please read them before placing an order.

1. About Pekko's Pizza

Pekko's Pizza is a small independent pizza business providing freshly prepared pizzas for home delivery.

Throughout these terms, "Pekko's", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Pekko's Pizza.

2. Ordering

Orders should normally be placed online through our website.

When you place an order, you are responsible for making sure that:

• the items selected are correct;

• any customisations or additional toppings are correct;

• your delivery address is complete and accurate;

• your telephone number and contact details are correct; and

• you have told us about any relevant food allergies or intolerances.

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. We may be unable to accept an order because, for example, an ingredient is unavailable, we have reached our cooking or delivery capacity, your address is outside our delivery area, or there is a problem processing payment.

Where we are unable to accept a paid order, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

3. Prices & Payment

Prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (£) and are the prices applicable when the order is placed.

Any applicable delivery charge, minimum order requirement or other charge will be shown before payment is completed.

Payment is made using the payment methods offered during online checkout.

We may change menu prices from time to time. Any changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

4. Availability

Pekko's is a small food business and all pizzas are freshly prepared.

Occasionally an ingredient or menu item may become unavailable.

If this affects your order, we may contact you to discuss an alternative. We will not make a significant substitution without your agreement where doing so could affect the nature of the product or its allergen content.

If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, we will refund the affected item.

5. Delivery

Our normal delivery hours are shown on our website.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may vary depending on:

• the number of orders being prepared;

• traffic and road conditions;

• weather;

• the size of your order; and

• other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will always try to deliver your food within the estimated time, but delivery times cannot be guaranteed unless we have specifically agreed otherwise.

Please provide an accurate delivery address and a telephone number at which you can be contacted.

If we cannot locate the address or obtain a response from you when attempting delivery, this may prevent us from completing the delivery.

6. Food Quality & Delivery

Our pizzas are cooked freshly and are intended to be eaten soon after delivery.

If there is a problem with your order — for example an incorrect item, missing item, damaged product or significant quality issue — please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate and put things right. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, partial refund, full refund or another suitable remedy. 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

7. Cancelling an Order

Our pizzas are freshly prepared, perishable food made specifically for your order.

If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will normally be able to cancel an order and arrange a refund if preparation has not yet begun.

Once we have begun preparing or cooking your food, we may be unable to cancel the order or provide a refund simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your legal rights where food is faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise not provided in accordance with your statutory rights.

8. Allergies & Intolerances

Allergen information is provided with our menu items and further information is available on our Allergen Information page.

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please:

1. read the relevant allergen information before ordering; and

2. tell us about your allergy when placing your order.

Our pizzas are handmade in a shared food preparation environment in which ingredients containing allergens are handled.

Although we follow food hygiene and allergen-management procedures, we cannot completely eliminate the possibility of accidental allergen cross-contact.

If you have a severe or potentially life-threatening allergy, please contact us before ordering so that we can discuss whether we can safely accommodate your requirements.

9. Pizza Customisation & Extra Toppings

Where our ordering system allows you to add or remove toppings, please be aware that this may change the allergen content of the pizza. Removing an ingredient does not necessarily make the finished product free from that allergen because ingredients are handled within the same preparation area.

Please check allergen information carefully when customising an order.

10. Vegan Products

Items described as vegan are made using ingredients intended for a plant-based diet.

However, they are prepared in the same kitchen as products containing meat, milk and other animal-derived ingredients. We therefore do not claim that vegan items are prepared in a completely separate environment.

Customers with allergies should refer to our allergen information rather than relying solely on a product being described as vegan.

11. Menu Descriptions & Images

We try to describe our pizzas and other products accurately.

Because our pizzas are handmade, there will naturally be some variation in appearance, shape, topping distribution and size.

Photographs on our website are illustrative and the pizza delivered to you will not necessarily look identical to the photograph shown.

Ingredient availability and recipes may occasionally change. Where a change affects allergen information, we will update our information accordingly.

12. Delivery Area

We deliver only within the delivery area currently shown or accepted by our online ordering system unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to change our delivery area as the business develops.

Acceptance of an address by the website does not prevent us from contacting you if there is a genuine problem fulfilling delivery to that location.

13. Age & Ordering

You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order with us.

If an order is placed by someone under 18, it should be done with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian where appropriate.

14. Website Availability

We try to keep our website and online ordering service available and accurate.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption, particularly where problems are caused by Wix, payment processors, internet services or other third-party systems outside our control.

If you believe an order or payment has been processed incorrectly, please contact us rather than submitting repeated orders.

15. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed, or for business losses arising from a consumer order.

16. Privacy

Personal information provided when placing an order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally.

The version applying to your order will be the version published on our website when your order is placed.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Consumers retain any rights they have under applicable UK consumer law.
